Introduce a law so that parental rights are reduced if there is a proven background of abuse.

Introduce a law so that parental rights are reduced if there is a proven background of abuse.

Introduce a law so that families that have split don't have to talk to the perpetrator if they have a background of domestic abuse and/or violence.

Why is this important?

It means that the perpetrator does not have as much control over the family, as even though they may have got a divorce, it's still a way to hold power over them.

Reasons for signing

  • to prevent the metal torture of my step children by their mother , and the mental brainwashing of my own children by my ex . children dont need this its bad enough a couple split without the children being used as pawns to get one over on the other !
  • My ex husband has alienated my eldest child against me causing emotional harm and the courts let it happen
  • My ex husband abused my children and I both emotionally and physically/ the emotional abuse causing far more damage, yet he has PR.... and so even years after he finally did the right think and walked away, he still has control. For example I can't change the children's passports without going to the courts. It's wrong! The system needs to change!
