Call for investigation into security at Cotswold Wildlife Park

Security at the Cotswold Wildlife Park has been week to the extent that a female wolf escaped from a supposedly secure area of the Park into an area to which it should not have had access. The wolf was shot dead by Park staff.

Her young cubs have been left without their mother.

If the area in which the wolves are kept was secure there would be no way that this would happen.

This petition calls on Michael Gove to set up an investigation into the security of the animals at this Park and to ensure that security is upgraded and kept to a standard to prevent the escape of any other animals at the Park.

Why is this important?

The Wolf killed as it escaped was part of an important breeding program and this loss has a crucial effect on that program.
