Die with Dignity in Scotland
Draft legislation to allow terminally ill adults to access medically assisted death when, through pain and/or dignity, they decide to terminate their lives. Then process this draft Bill through Parliament and have it passed by the Scottish Government.
Why is this important?
Too many people reach the end of their lives, and sadly are in tremendous pain and have lost their dignity. The medical profession keeps these people alive against their will. This is inhuman. My father, mother and aunt all begged me to terminate their lives to end their suffering. That was over 40 years ago and nothing has changed.
