Discrimination of Single People
I would like them to stop penalising single people who are travelling on holiday and having to pay single supplements, quite often being accomodated in small single rooms, which are no more than glorified cupboards. In this day and age surely that is discriminating against people travelling on their own. I have brought it up with the tour operators and they blame the hotels and when you speak to the hotels they blame the tour operators.
Why is this important?
People have to face travelling on their own, after they have perhaps lost a loved one and why should they have to pay all this extra money for being on their own. I could see the point if they were given a twin or double room, but not for some of the so called single rooms available. The single supplements for abroad are even more horrendous.
