We are asking for any University across the United Kingdom that has bestowed an Academic Honorary Fellowship upon anyone implicated in the Hillsborough cover-up scandal, to rescind the fellowship.
For instance Liverpool John Moores University who bestowed an Honorary Fellowship on Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe.
Why is this important?
These people have been found to have taken part in the cover-up of Hillsborough by the courts. Therefore they are no longer worthy to hold a fellowship. They have been found to be dishonest and untrustworthy. Characteristics that should not be seen to be rewarded with such honors.
This is one more step for justice for the 96 and their families.
