Do not deport Eleanor Rogerson
This campaign has ended.
Please do not deport Eleanor Rogerson
Why is this important?
An urgent appeal against the deportation for Eleanor Rogerson 71, from Sierra Leone found rough sleeping at Victoria Railway station. As well as being unable to claim any help from the state, she could also be sent back to her native Sierra Leone after losing her paperwork in her time on the streets ā despite having lived and worked in Britain since 1966.
She arrived to the United Kingdom as a Commonwealth National in 1966 just after fives Sierra Leone gained independence in 1961 from Britain.
She has worked in varieties of jobs paying her contributions and having attended Maidenhead school in the United Kingdom.
