Hold Tony Blair to account for misleading statements prior to the Iraq War

The Chilcot Report has presented a range of evidence that demonstrates that Parliament and the country were misled by Tony Blair in the run up to the war in Iraq. Parliament should now agree a process by which it can hold the former Prime Minister to account.

Why is this important?

Voters in the UK need to be reassured that Parliament is provided with the full facts before agreeing to send UK armed forces into combat.

Parliament should act now to hold Tony Blair to account for his misleading statements in the lead up to the war in Iraq in order to protect its integrity.
