Instigate a Royal Commission into the future direction of the NHS
It is time for a Royal Commission to look into the future of our NHS.
All major political parties, trade unions, NHS staff, service providers and expert witnesses and patients should be called to look at ways of improving and enhancing our NHS for the future. It should be led by an expert in the field of medicine.

Why is this important?
Ever since it's foundation in 1948, the National Health Service has been a mainstay of our country.
However, in an ever changing world, the pressures now facing the NHS are very great.
We have had a top down review in recent years.
People are growing older and living longer. There have also been significant advances in medicine since 1948.
However, the NHS has also seen major political parties arguing about who can manage it best.
It is now time for all of that to stop.

It is time for the politics to stop and all those with an interest to come together to work hard for the future of our NHS.
A long term solution agreed by all stakeholders in our NHS is needed to make it work for everyone.
