Why is this important?
The 640 millions of euros given to Murcia to save the Segura is a serious budget, all citizens have contributed for.
Yet, we cannot drink anymore from these waters and they get so polluted when they reach the river that the river too gets polluted.
This natural waterfountain is a gem of the world celebrated since the 2nd century until the 18th as a sanctuary. Blanca once upon a time an autonomy owned by a landlord who created an hospice for the poor and wounded, rich and prosperous for its soil and handcraft, should be protected. As it always was before a new administration took over two centuries ago.
Many children and families swim in these waters , also fishing is authorised , despite the high level of pollution there is to be found in the river because the pure and crystal clear water of the natural rock fountain of Blanca is not kept clean and respected as it used to be. Samples were taken , but one can see straight away how much oil and dirt can be found in a water that should be kept crystal clear for the irrigation of the soils, but also for people to drink . Th

So that we get it registered officially as world's water patrimony and sacred water for its healing properties and the good it gives to the soil and the Segura and to so many pilgrims and navigators since the phoenician era.
So that the wasted waters arent anymore directed into one of the purest and rarest water on earth, that irrigates all the fields situated: REVUELTA DE LOS CANALES, carretera de ABARAN, BLANCA, 30540, Murcia , Spain.
NB: Blanca had a different name back then, but it was known as a sanctuary which gave for centuries much joy and health to many pilgrims and wounded soldiers from all nations. It is a pre historical site, in which one of the first walking ambulance was created. Ref Le Père Lachaise.
It has one of the richest history of mankind between nations.
Even worst, instead of repairing the fountains built for all to enjoy the water, they were destroyed and replaced by a fake fountain, a vague sculpture in iron or so, no one can approach it, as surrounded by a gate. In contradiction with the beautiful ones that were built in the village and around to the enjoyment of all to give freely a water which healing properties were reknown as much as all the healing water fountains around.
