Lidl UK stop supporting apartheid.
Stop selling good from Israel.
Why is this important?
As a regular shopper at Lidl, I would like to be able to walk around the store and pick up items with confidence, knowing that I am not supporting apartheid. On a recent visit I found that your baby wipes are from Israel.
For years Israel has occupied Palestinian land, forcing Palestinians from their homes and illegally using that land to house Israeli settlers and to produce millions of pounds worth of products that are sold around the world, including in UK markets.
The money made through the trade of goods produced in the settlements allows the settlements to profit and expand, and by allowing the sale of these goods in UK markets the UK is indirectly supporting this expansion of illegal settlements and indirectly sanctioning their associated human rights violations.
