Pay child benefit monthly.
Start paying Child Benefit in equal 12ths on a fixed day in the month. End the age-old tradition of paying every 4 weeks.
Why is this important?
It's difficult to plan finances around payments that move around the calendar each month. Direct Debits in particular don't cope well this this.
The system is out of touch with modern family finances and needs to be changed.
