Reduce the amount that Argyll and Bute Council will accept for the Castle Toward estate from £1,750,000 to £750,000
Why is this important?
The community project will create in excess of 80 jobs in an area that desperately needs them. It will also create an attraction that will attract visitors to a beautiful part of Argyll, further boosting the areas fragile economy. The project will do more for the area than anything the council has so far done in relation to the estate. The communities of Dunoon, Innellan and Toward are united behind this project, unlike the council, who have only put obstacles in the way.
As SCCDC and the council have agreed a two week, last ditch, extension to the Right to Buy, so I have extended the petition to the 13th of February. Please keep signing and sharing, the council cannot keep ignoring what the community wishes to happen!

SCCDC have had a full, Red Book valuation carried out on the estate which shows that it is only worth £850,000. Even more reason for the council to accept £750,000!
Please keep signing and sharing.

The support for this is still growing so the petition will now close on Friday 31st as this is the last day of the SCCDC's Right to Buy

In view of the latest decision by the council to decline extending the Right to Buy process, this petition will conclude on Sunday night in order that it can be presented to the council in an attempt to get them to see sense. Keep the signatures coming!
