SAVE Milford’s Trees

SAVE Milford’s Trees

Why is this important?

Staffordshire Borough Council have granted planning permission for the Sister Dora care home development, which involves the cutting down of over 25 trees in the Cannock Chase/Milford area. These trees, which are well established, and in and around an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, have had their Tree Protection Orders revoked.

Visits to the council planning office, neighbour, expert and committee objections have made no difference. Multiple species of protected bats, Great Crested Newts, reptiles, deer and other wildlife use this habitat on a daily basis. Yet this has made no difference to the application being approved.

Don’t let the council and get away with this! It only opens the door for further developments on our beloved Cannock Chase. Sign the petition and SAVE our trees!
