Save The Vic

Save The Vic

Keep the Vic Studio open in Wrexham!

Why is this important?

The Vic Studios is the only public building with a recording studio kitted out with it's own equipment in; with the pending removal of music from the National Curriculum, it is imperative that other means of accessing music is available to young people. Also see https://www.facebook.com/groups/savethevicstudioswrexham/ for updates.

Reasons for signing

  • In a world where youths continue to get a bad name, where they get branded 'hooligans' or 'hoodies' and where they comit crime due to shere boredom - positive ventures such as forming a band in a place like the vic are surely integral to the community?
  • Wrexham has a rich variety of young musicians in the area, with very few places to practice. Without the Vic there would be nowhere for such positive ventures to happen.
  • WE NEED THIS... simple!! the manager of the building needs to work out if he's in the right job!!! mx
