Say no to advertising, normalising or glorifying hunting by Scotland's national tourism agency
We call on Visit Scotland to immediately suspend advertisements, listings and any other links on their website or literature to organisations or businesses providing or facilitating access to hunting, blood sports or other activities which result in the torture, suffering or killing of animals.
We further call on the agency to create a policy which sets out its commitment to awarding ratings or certification to organisations or businesses with a consideration of animal welfare being incorporated into the future work and decisions of the agency.

Why is this important?
Currently Visit Scotland links to a Perthshire based hunting outfit and under this listing at https://www.visitscotland.com/info/see-do/mirani-hunting-p1190411 there is a gallery of images showing a range of animal carcasses alongside the gloating hunter who supposedly killed them.
Scotland enjoys a rich and wide selection of wild animals and it is our duty to protect them. Not kill them and pose for selfies.
