To: Sovereign Housing Association

Stop Josh & Sam from being evicted from their family home.

The boys have secured their tenancy.

Please help us to get Sovereign Housing Association to accept their moral responsibility to Josh and Sam Steliou. Sovereign Housing Association are evicting them from the home they have lived in most of their lives. Urgent action is needed to appeal to Sovereign to review their decision.

Why is this important?

Josh (21) and Sam (19) sadly lost their Mum just 3 months ago in November 2016. They are still suffering the trauma of this loss and are grieving but trying to keep going. A major part of the stability they have left is living in their family home full of memories of their mother and a sense of familiarity and comfort. Sovereign Housing Association has taken the decision to evict Josh and Sam. In addition Sovereign Housing Association has stated that they have no obligation or intention to rehouse the boys. This immoral and heartless decision threatens the emotional wellbeing of both Josh and Sam and could have a detrimental impact upon their capacity to try to rebuild their lives. Please help to urge Sovereign Housing Association to make an exception and allow Josh and Sam to stay in their family home. To Sovereign its just another house but to Josh and Sam its their home and its where they need to be.

Hi all. I just got the news from Sam and Josh that they have been given the tenancy to their home. The petition you signed was what made Sovereign begin to listen to and communicate with the boys. A massive thank you for the support you have given. This petition will now close :)

Josh and Sam would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to sign and share this petition. As a direct result of your actions they have met with Sovereign Housing Association today. Sovereign have agreed to let Josh and Sam remain in their home for at least 3 months. Josh and Sam are continuing to work with Sovereign to reach a mutually agreeable resolution. Whilst we are all hopeful this will work out for the boys we will keep the petition open and kindly ask that you might begin sharing and generating more signatures should the need arise. We cannot thank you all enough for what each and everyone of you have achieved for Josh and Sam by signing the petition.
