Stop the snoops

Stop the snoops

Stop rushing through emergency data law to oblige telecoms companies to store and divulge history to government agencies.

Why is this important?

More time is needed to ensure proper laws are discussed and agreed. We do not live in a policed state...

Maybe there is law firm out there that would take on a mass case of legal challenges by the public to force telecoms companies to destroy the data now and thereby force the government into proper dialogue with people they are representing!

Reasons for signing

  • Can't believe that we're just going to let the government impose this 'Emergency' legislation without even a murmur of protest.
  • Concerned about Government and Retail use of our personal information. We already know both sel/attempt to selll this to third parties without our permission. Now that Retail is using sophisticated face recognition surveillance. Where is our Data Protection?
