Stop Lincolnshire County Council cutting funding for local bus servicesUPDATE - 28/03/16 - We Won! We were planning a demonstration at the full council budget meeting, but 2 days before this, the Council announced it had received extra funding for the next 2 years for these vital bus services. I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you that got in touch, signed and shared this petition - I do not think we could have forced Lincolnshire County Council into a major rethink and change of heart, without your support. It shows that when many people stand with a united voice, change is possible. You can watch my speech at full council here from 7 mins - 12 mins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfXRq3OoIOg4,178 SignaturesCreated by David Rimmington

Save York Station Ticket Office and Staffing Levels.01/01/18 We Won! I wanted to share the good news with you that Virgin have listened to customers concerns and that their plans to revamp the station will include retaining a traditional ticket office. I think this shows the effectiveness of "people power". The local paper published an article about the petition after it was launched in July and another article about the successful outcome on Monday, 1st January. http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/15798711.Campaigners_welcome_ticket_office_U_turn/2,791 SignaturesCreated by Susan Leadley

Save Our Kids Free Meals in NewhamToday Newham Council have backed down and will no longer cut the Eat for Free scheme which gives a hot meal in term time to about 14,000 children (see the link below). My heartfelt thanks to all of you who signed and shared the petition and made this change happen. The best of our councillors joined with us in speaking out, as did East Ham MP Stephen Timms. The success of the campaign shows that collectively we can make a difference and stand up against cuts. Our children deserve better and we fought for them. Thank you. https://www.newham.gov.uk/news/article/577/newham-s-flagship-eat-for-free-scheme-guaranteed-by-the-mayor737 SignaturesCreated by Carel Buxton

Immoral tactics of Teignbridge District CouncilUPDATE: 14/09/16 Warren Farm can continue farming, and the Weeks family can continue their farming family history. We have heard this week that Teignbridge District Council has declared the land that has been selected for the SANGS is to the north of Dawlish, which adjoins one of the new housing developments. Thank you so much for signing this petition, and for campaigning with me to keep Warren Farm farming. I would like to thank my fellow campaigners, Cllr Martin Wrigley and Cllr Gary Taylor too, for their part in driving this campaign forward. And finally, sending best wishes to Richard Weeks and his family, for the continued farming of Warren Farm.3,518 SignaturesCreated by Cllr Alison Foden
