Avert a Doctors' Strike - Negotiate with the BMA

The Government must let the Doctors' Union (the BMA) negotiate with them and PREVENT A STRIKE.

Doctors do not want to strike.

They WANT TO NEGOTIATE a fair contract that is safe for patients.

But the Government has currently set preconditions which the BMA must accept before they will be allowed to enter negotiations.

The BMA want to be able to negotiate this contract with the Government but they cannot do so with preconditions in place and with the threat of imposition.

Why is this important?

Without these safeguards and without a represented and respected workforce the NHS cannot give patients the care they deserve.

Please sign this petition urging the Government to negotiate with the BMA and prevent a Junior Doctor strike.

How it will be delivered

We will hand deliver the signatures to Jeremy Hunt asking him to give the BMA the assurances they need and allow them to negotiate with him.
