Build more training centres for people with Learning Disabilities

I would like the government to stop closing down training centres for people with learning disabilities and build more in my area.

Why is this important?

This is important because they help people with LD to develop their skills and gives them a chance to thrive in the community.

Southampton

Reasons for signing

  • Because I believe in a wide variety of educational options throughout life for people with learning disabilities. Education not only maintains skills it also can help to rehabilitate and continue development of skills and abilities therefore providing intellectual fulfillment. Also it provides cultural and leisure opportunities. I personally believe in full and real inclusion alongside mainstream peers. But also I believe in equality of opportunity, and lifelong learning close to home.
