Abolish the 300 yr old law "Joint Enterprise" that is in effect convicting numerous innocent men woman and children and a majority of vulnerable adults
Why is this important?
As a mother of a young 24 year old autistic man convicted of murder which was another persons act and is now going to serve 20 years before parole for a crime he didn't commit or foresee happening I ask you is this right.
From the beginning I trusted the law would be fair and just but I was deluding myself.
The fact of the matter was he never stood a chance the bar for finding guilt is far to low leading to unjust and unsafe convictions.
vulnerable people are at an everyday disadvantage , autism isn't being addressed

If it was your child about to serve a life sentence for something they didn't do, you would not rest until you got your concerns heard.I implore you to stand against this unjust law as parents and concerned member's of the public.
The supreme court found that a person cannot be convicted of murder unless they intentionally assisted or encouraged that murder. He did not assist or encourage never the less he has still been convicted using an out dated version of the law.
By signing this petition your standing against injustice and against a 300 year old law that is still being used widely.
