Keep the Health Visitor at Tupton Tiddlers

Keep the Health Visitor visiting Tupton Tiddlers play groups twice a month to run Baby Clinic and help the families in Tupton who can't travel to other Baby clinics.

Why is this important?

Many people who come to Tupton Tiddlers either can't or don't want to go to other Baby clinics because they are either too far for them to travel or feel uncomfortable going somewhere that they won't know anyone. Having the health Visitor here helps parents and carers get out of the house to meet others and form friendships when they feel isolated. It also makes sure that more people can make sure that everything is alright with their children and give them any help they need.

Reasons for signing

  • Parents and children feel supported by the health visiting service - health visitors serve to meet the needs of communities - searching for health needs and supporting those who care for children and their families. This sounds like local cuts. It is important that clinic users and clinic supporters write to their clinical commissioning group and funding stakeholders to exercise their parent power to influence and change this decision.- also involve the local press - retired health visitor
