Lets stop envelopes with plastic windows!
Paper envelopes with plastic windows can't be recycled unless the plastic window is removed. How many of us have the time to do this to all the formal letters we receive?
Even Government Departments use these envelopes despite government policy stating it is committed to reducing plastic waste.
A paper envelope with a printed address would simply put this right. If we care enough for the environment is this too much to ask?
Why is this important?
Plastic is a major polluter of landfill sites and more and more of our plastic is ending up in our oceans. Every year the amounts increase. We need to take steps, even small ones, to protect our world for our children and grandchildren.
