Lloyds Bank CEO must finally admit fraud
Stop hiding behind expensive solicitors and barristers, admit that fraud has been carried out by your organisation against your customers and provide compensation to help people rebuild the lives shattered by your companies’ actions.
Why is this important?
Over the last few years we have been shown evidence that the Bank has been less than honest in its dealings with customer. This started with PPI, hidden bank charges etc. culminating this year in the successful trial of members of Lloyds Bank staff in the Thames Valley area for committing large scale fraud against customers.
There are probably many people like ourselves that have suffered at the hands of Lloyds Banking Group, their solicitors Walker Morris and Barrister James Sheehan of Maitland Chambers, as the bank spends thousands of pounds defending the indefensible and denying the undeniable.
I our case it was a Chartered Surveyor from Colleys, Stoke-on-Trent and a Mortgage area Manager from Halifax Bank, Basingstoke – the Chartered Surveyor changed valuations details and the Mortgage area Manager committed mortgage fraud by changing a borrowers employment details and inventing grants. We have lost our home, will never own a house and are saddled with a debt of nearly £120,000 which can be pursued until the very day that we both die.
We considered ourselves alone in this until the trial of several HBOS members of staff and their imprisonment for fraud – there are many good members of staff working for Lloyds Group but there are some that rely on the Bank to go to any length to cover up their actions. In his statement to court Mr James Sheehan stated that it was “fanciful” to assert that a Bank employee would “risk her career and reputation” but of course we know that there are some that would!
There is no justice regarding this as the Banks have deep pockets and significant numbers of solicitors on retainer – it would take a big man to admit that his organisation needs to admit it’s failings but maybe he can be persuaded by public opinion. This is an important petition as, at the present time, Mr Osorio appears to believe that Lloyds Banking Group is outside the law and sadly lacking in common decency.
