Pressure Coombe Farm to review and alter their farming practices
The Soil Association and Yeo Valley must demand a change in the way their approved supplier, Coombe Farm, operate. After seeing the disgusting treatment of calves and cows on their farm, they do not deserve the accreditation of the Soil Association and certainly do not adhere to their values. Action must be taken and practices must be changed. They need to hold those in the footage accountable and give all animals on their farm complete respect and humane treatment.
Why is this important?
This is a serious animal welfare issue. Hundreds of thousands of people trust the Soil Association certificate and expect to be buying an ethical product when they buy something with their mark on. The way these animals are being treated is not ethical and therefore discredits the Soil Association name.
