Proscribe ALL hate groups like Britain First and PEGIDA UK
Hate groups operate under the "Freedom of Speech" banner and whilst Freedom of Speech should always be protected, Freedom to create fear and spread hate should neither be tolerated or legally allowed.
This week, a precious life has been torn away from us. Jo Cox was a caring compassionate lady who was admired and respected by all who met her, worked with her and had heard about her various contributions to volunteering and to charitable organisations and her hard work to show all of us that All life is precious.
Sadly it was whilst she was doing this very work as an MP campaigning to stay in the EU that she was brutally attacked and savagely beaten and shot which sadly ended the life of this extraordinary human being.
Why is this important?
The investigations into why it happened will no doubt be revealed in the future, but there is little doubt that the killer Thomas Mair was inspired and motivated by the divisive politics we have witnessed for some time and the rhetoric from hate groups creating fear and hatred of immigrants and anti-Muslim hate groups was always going to end up with an innocent life being taken sooner or later.
We must end this campaign of fear, stop these groups whether they are pro-ISIS, Anti-Semitic, Islamophobic or any type of hate group.
We call on you Prime Minister David Cameron - ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN MERE WORDS.
Words that will mean nothing once this tragedy becomes media history and we return to our daily lives.
We must act now before another Jo Cox is tragically taken from us. Please.
