STOP ROYAL MAIL NOISE POLLUTION AT UNSOCIAL HOURS ON WYNNE ROAD, SW9

We are petitioning for the council to move the operations of the Royal Mail Depot in SW9 into the car park rather than outside our homes, during the hours of 11pm-7am

Why is this important?

The Royal mail depot on Wynne Road, SW9 operates until midnight, and starts at 4am. New flats have been built opposite (completed April 2017) and sold to young Londoners on the HTB scheme, the land was sold by Lambeth council itself. Residents are now being woken up daily due to the noise made by loading and unloading during these unsocial hours. The engines are kept running, trolleys rattled on the road, reverse beeping from the vehicles can be heard, as well as loud loading noises. Royal Mail refuses to use their car park at the back of the building and instead use the loading bay at the front of their building, and double yellow marked areas directly outside the flats.
