Keep free school transport for Grammar School pupils in Lincolnshire.UPDATE: 8/6/16 We've won. Thanks to your support the County Council have backed down and free grammar school transport is safe for at least the next 2 years (see below). Councillor Mrs Patricia Bradwell, Executive Councillor for Children's Services, said: "Having considered the detail of the Task and Finish Group report and the comments and feedback of the Scrutiny Committee, I have decided to keep the current policy as it is with a review in two years' time. Then, the financial climate may be a lot better and give us more scope for change. As it is we are looking at having to make substantial savings which does not give us the flexibility to make changes – any proposed changes would incur further costs on the council. The current grammar school policy is lawful and being administered correctly and while some students will benefit while others won't, it does provide good support for many students who wouldn't otherwise be able to access grammar education. The important thing is for all pupils to have access to good schools, whether grammars, comprehensives or academies, around the county." Once again, Thank you, you've down our children proud Mick172 SignaturesCreated by Mick Flindall

Provision of Specialist Autism Support for Sandwell FamiliesWe Won! 05/03/19 A big thank you to everyone who signed our petition. Sandwell Autism Group are thrilled to report that Sandwell Council have now funded specialist autism family support for another year. The support is across the whole of Sandwell to any parent/carer who needs it. A grant was given to Autism West Midlands to provide the service and they have been asked to consult with parent/carers to make sure the offer of support meets the needs of the parent/carers. We are now looking towards how our voice can become part of the planning at a strategic level so we don't have this issue every year. Again, thanks to everyone who took time to sign and share the petition. Best wishes Rebecca Harris763 SignaturesCreated by Rebecca Harris

Remove the BAN on running in the playground at Hillfort Primary School, LiskeardFollowing the apparent U turn of the school, children WILL be permitted to continue running freely in the main playground, the early years playground in addition to the ball court! Whilst running in a specific area will be discouraged for safety reasons, to reduce injury of children running into one another, children will still be permitted to run. The school issued a statement via their Facebook page this evening following the launch of this petition & direct contact from the BBC. I would like to thank everyone for their signatures & support to bring about this apparent back pedal from what had been outlined in the newsletter that running will only be permitted 'in the ball court', in response to 'bad behaviour'. The statement can be viewed on their Facebook page. Our children WILL have the right & freedom to run freely during child led free play! Well done, fantastic outcome!173 SignaturesCreated by Leah Browning
