  • Give Kabran a chance
UPDATE 31/7/14: At the last minute - less than four hours before his flight was due to leave - Kabran received the news that the injunction against his flight was successful and he would not be put on the plane. Although Kabran is still in detention, this is a massive relief and means he can apply for bail and have more time for his new claim to be considered. So please keep signing the petition to show your support. Many thanks to everyone who supported the campaign.

  • Improve West Rainton School Avenue Playground
Counsellor David Hall has been an excellent support of our cause helping us in every way possible. Today he emailed some good news that I'm sure he won't mind me sharing. I met with Terry Collins today and he has agreed this is an exceptional one off case and refurbishment of equipment within the fenced area can go ahead funded by the play area group. We are absolutely delighted with this amazing result. The next round of bidding ends March 2016 (our first bid attempt failed in December). Many thanks for your help signing our petition, it made a real difference with nearly 300 signatures.

  • Mobility Aids Center Totton, Hampshire must remain insitu.
A few days ago counsellor David Harrison from Hampshire contacted me and alerted me to the favorable decisions made by the Red Cross to continue servicing the areas as it has done for the past 60 or so years. Because of our determination, belief in the serviceĀ  and the necessity of the service I'm pleased to inform you that the service will remain open.

  • Opening hours to suit the community at Artizan Street Library
After our well publicised local campaign, I am pleased to announce that the City of London agreed to extend the hours at Artizan Street Community Library. This is fantastic news! In addition to extending the hours the City will also now be trialling a Saturday opening slot for six months. From 14th May 2018 the new Library hours will be as follows: Monday- 8am-7pm Tuesday- 8am-5.30pm Wednesday- 8am-5.30pm Thursday- 8am-5.30pm Friday- 8am-5.30pm Saturday- 9am-1pm This really is tremendous news for the local community and it will now mean that this wonderful resource is available for even more people to use on a daily basis. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and to the parents who came to the Guildhall last month to hand-in the petition. We couldn't have got this result without all of your support.

  • STOP COMPANIES FROM SELLING PRODUCTS THAT BELITTLE MENTAL HEALTH
This campaign and petition was picked up by Huffington Post - http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/mental-health-slogan-tees-campaign_uk_59941182e4b00914164150f6 - which caused Pink Boutique, and other online outlets, to stop selling these products that belittle mental health issues. Congratulations Phil Hill!
