Call for a three option referendum in the Brexit leave deal. Accept/decline/stay
Before Article 50 is presented, secure agreement that a referendum will be given at the end of two years negotiations. Even if negotiations have not concluded.
This new referendum gives voters the chance to:
Agrees to accept any deal in place.
Declines any deal in place.
Express their wishes to remain a member of the EU.
This will give the voters a 'non spin' view on what is actually on offer to the UK.
In addition this will petition the EU insisting that they impose in Brexit negotiations the requirement for this referendum.
Why is this important?
This is important as many voters feel mislead after the referendum. This will give the whole of the UK time to understand what is really on offer at the end of negotiations. Will immigration be reduced, how much money will we really have available after withdrawal.
This will ensure Brexit negotiations will focus on what has been promised, and show the voters what is on offer.
