Do you want a bag?
Petitioning Sainsbury’s to stop their ‘mantra’ at the till ‘Do you want a bag?’ and ask customers instead ‘Have you brought a bag?’
Why is this important?
Sainsbury’s orange ‘Bag for Life’ are in the bins everywhere, ending up in landfills or the oceans eventually. They are not ‘Bags for Life’ anymore but have become ‘Single Use’ items. We feel Sainsbury’s has to play an educational role. This can be achieved by reminding customers to bring their own bag.
