A real roadmap to phase out animal testingAs you may know, the government published their roadmap on 11th November. Our concerns were that it would not contain concrete measures by which to hold them accountable - but I am delighted to report that the strategy does contain a number of excellent measures, as well as publicly reportable outcomes to enable accountability. This is a huge milestone and the biggest progress on this issue ever made by a UK government, so it is genuinely something to celebrate. We would like it to go much further and will continue to work towards that end but we are very pleased that it is a really good start and lays the foundations for meaningful changes, which can be built upon and accelerated with input from groups, organisations and individuals like ourselves. Please read our full statement here: https://www.humanrelevantscience.org/replacing-animals-in-science/ Thank you for your support.5,102 SignaturesCreated by Alliance for Human Relevant Science

Bring back The BohemiaLast year the Bohemia had closed it's doors and was threatened with extinction. But after pressure from over 1,000 38 Degrees members, the council listed the building as an 'Asset of Community Value' - meaning it had to be a pub. A new buyer was found and the pub will reopen in Spring 2014.1,033 SignaturesCreated by Alon Or-bach
