Don't call me black or white. It is a racial slur.
To stop describing people according to their colour. No human being is black or white. People should be described first from their continent and their country of origin. For example an Asian from Pakistan, African from Tanzania. Today in America we no more hear people being called 'Black American'. They are called African American. We must also follow as the benefits of not calling someone black or white outweighs the benefit of using these words for the purpose of gathering statistics.
Why is this important?
It will not only remove the stigma that is associated with being called a black for example as many think black is associated with evil. It will help to change the way people are regarded in their communities and stamp out Stereotypes. It will encourage a change of mentality and eradicate racial abuse.
