Primary school bus service. Millbank and rosebank primary
We, the undersigned, strongly believe that a bus service should be provided for millbank and rosebank primary pupils who live in the lochloy/Springfield development. We think it is very unfair that pupils attending Auldearn primary are picked up and dropped off by a school bus, while the millbank and rosebank pupils living in the same area have to walk 1.4 miles to school. Many millbank and rosebank families rely on taxis because they have young children who cannot walk that distance. If pupils are in the school nursery and have older siblings in school this means them making that journey 4 times every day.
We know that there is currently a consultation about the catchment area but we need to resolve the transport situation immediately.

Why is this important?
This is important because it would take a lot of pressure off parents and their children. It would also keep the roads safer as it would mean less traffic on the lochloy Road as buses would mean less cars.
