Speeding control on Grace Way Stevenage
Put speed bumps along the length of Grace Way & a fixed speed camera at the dual carriageway end of the road that exits off the martins way roundabout.
Why is this important?
Grace way is a 30 road but with little speeding deterrent. It is 1 mile long & almost completely straight. Cars are regularly caught doing in excess of 40mph.
Police figures show they catch 3 times more speeders on Grace Way than any other road in Stevenage. It is a busy road with several schools nearby & many houses facing onto it.
It is just a matter of time before a person is seriously injured.
