HELPS 1950s BORN WOMEN NOW
Pension age rise from 60 to 66 since 2013 has caused poverty, early death and suicide amongst the poorest 1950s born ladies, who were denied state pension, pension credit and winter fuel allowance for half a decade, when welfare state long gone with state focus only now on leaving you to starve.

WHAT ASKED FOR ALL PENSIONER AGES 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 plus, MEN AND WOMEN ALIKE
Increase state pension to £175 per week, for single / married persons with 100 per cent National Insurance record (reduced down from 35 now to 30 years as was).

Increase married women's stamp / housewife pension from 60 per cent to 70 per cent of full state pension.

£5000 extra tax allowance from 60 for all pensioner ages, above basic tax allowance.

INCREASED STATE PENSION MONEY

AROUND 4 MILLION CURRENT PENSIONERS IN POVERTY
Increasing poverty rising to around half of the total 12 million pensioners, causing up to 40,000 winter excess deaths, the highest in all of Europe, who were left on the old basic state pension.

New pensioners since 2016, most women and half of men will not get the full flat rate pension even if have the raised requirement of 35 years because State Second Pension (abolished from 2016) used to reduce money, never done before.

RISE OF NATIONAL INSURANCE RECORD REQUIREMENT FROM 30 TO 35 YEARS DISCRIMINATES AGAINST WOMEN
Back in 2006 only 13 per cent of women got the full basic state pension, as against 92 per cent of men.

This is mostly the difficulty throughout the history of National Insurance Fund of women getting a full NI history, through part time low wages meaning below NI credits / home responsibilities protection levels, and expectation of society of women becoming housewives and not working outside the home.

TAXATION - FUNDING FOR DECENT PENSION FOR ALL

NATIONAL INSURANCE LEVELS
The richest live, on average, 25 years longer than the rest of us. Yet pay less as a percentage of their money in National Insurance contributions, as workers. In the past only paying 1 per cent worker NI worker deductions however much they earn above the maximum threshold, only rising to 2 per cent from 2011/2012.

INCREASE BOSSES' NATIONAL INSURANCE FOR THE RICH EMPLOYEE
To fund increased state pension, also raise from 13.8 per cent to 14.8 per cent employer NI contributions for those earning £80,000 and all further salary.

YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY MAY NEVER DRAW ANY KIND OF PENSION

PENSION AGE RISE 66 to 67 - born 1961 to 1969
Pension Bill 2014 accelerated by 7 years earlier the pension age rise of men and women’s pension age from 66 to 67. (Source: Cridland pension review published 23 March 2017, page 85, paragraph 3 and report on Pension Act 2007 published January 2015 State Pension Age - Section 13, 64, where informed that Section 26 of 2014 Pensions Act accelerated the timetable of the 2007 law of pension age rise to 67 to between 2026 and 2028).

PENSION AGE RISE FROM 67 TO 68 - BORN 1970 TO 1978
The 2007 law made it possible for this current Tory government to accelerate that pension age rise to 68 now by 8 years earlier, by inflicting it on those men and women now aged 39 to 47. (Source: Cridland pension review 23 March 2017, recommendation of accelerating pension age rise to 68 at 5.9 Future Path, page 111, and 2007 Pensions Act re report on that law published January 2015, State pension age - section 13, 61)

AGED 38 IN 2017 - PENSION AGE 68 - born 1979
Men and women now aged 38 already have state pension payment age of 68 from the 2007 law (timetable set out in Section 13 of the Act).

FUTURE PENSION AGE RISE REVIEWS to 69 and 70
Within the Cridland pension review published March 2017, is further pension age rises mooted of 69 through 70 for the youngest today in your 20s and early 30s.

COMPUTERS ARE AGEING THE YOUNG AS FAST AS THE HARD MANUAL WORK OF THE 1950s AND BEFORE BORN

Young people are thought to have mostly less manual jobs.

Computers, laptops, smartphones, iPads, iPods, video gaming etc are all ageing young people, who spend most of their waking life, in work, at college, in university, in school, at home glued to some hi-tech or other.

Causing progress towards repetitive strain disorder in fingers, hands and arms.

Early onset arthritis in lower back and neck and shoulders.

Eyes age.

And by working at home and on the train, always connected, are endangered by the work stress of Burn out, that can even leave you needing a full-time carer, probably family, as forget how to do even basic tasks in life, either permanently or many months off work.

And this may happen long, long before you reach 60 never mind 70.

HALF OF OVER 60s WITHIN WORKING POOR - LEAST CHANCE OF NEW JOB - MOST LIKELIHOOD OF LONG TERM OUT OF WORK

REDUNDANCIES HIT RECORD HIGH FOR 60 AND OVER
Employment rate drops to 64 per cent from age 60, more likely still unemployed 12 months later.

SAVES THE I DANIEL BLAKES
Men and women lost pension credit (the minimum income guarantee) from age 60 to 66 progressively since 2012 under welfare reform, leaving them under the brutally callous Jobcentre, with least chance of a new job. Sanctions run at
1 million a year, beyond the 6 weeks it takes to starve to death.

ILL HEALTH MOSTLY CAUSES FALLING OUT OF WORK EARLY
The pension industry inform that around 10 million workers don’t make it to pension age due to ill health taking them out of the workplace.

Accident or illness can make anyone disabled or chronic sick along with advancing years from 60.

The working class have more ill health in their 50s and 60s than those with higher income in life, which physically means can't do their job any more.

Reasons for signing

  • Because there cunts
  • Because we need to come together instead of allowing the government to tear us apart.
  • Just turned 60 looks like I'll need to find Employment for the next six years, well I'll just have to push up the unemployed figure if I'm deemed too old by the majority of Employers

Getting it back only occasionally.
Need also for my petition to be shared with your local trade union to publish in their newsletters so as to get more men signing as well as women, please. Thanks.
