Stop the closure of our indispensable local Bob Lawrence library.
Why is this important?
The closure of this FREE facility will impact all of us!
CHILDREN will miss out on exploring & enjoying the wide range of books. This will impact their reading & educational development. This great place to study, do homework and look up references will no longer be available.
ADULTS will have to spend money to buy books & magazines. We will be reluctantly to start new hobbies, acquire new work skills, enjoy fiction stories & stay abreast of current affairs.
ELDERLY will no longer have this warm meeting place for conversation and companionship or access to newspapers, Gujarati/ Hindi literature, audio books & large print books.
SHOP traders will be impacted by the reduction in public visiting the Mollison Way shopping parade.
ALL of us will not have access to the ICT facilities. Remember many people cannot effort their own computer & rely on the library facilities.
