• Don't criminalise homelessness anywhere
The idea of fining those who already have so little, that they are forced to sleep out in the cold or ask for food and money is a cruel and heartless act. This is attacking vulnerable people and does not resolving the issues homeless people face. Other campaigns have successfully stopped other councils from imposing similar fines.

  • Don't criminalise homelessness in Swindon
The idea of fining those who already have so little is crazy, that they are forced to sleep out in the cold and ask for food or money is an indictment of our current system. We HAVE to provide shelter, care and support for those who want it. Could we please stop attacking vulnerable people and do something to resolve the issues of homeless people? We need Swindon Borough Council to focus on resolving the housing issues of the homeless people and families in Swindon - NOT fine those people who have nowhere else to go. This campaign is not politically motivate, it is about reaching out to our fellow human beings, it is about FEELING something for those who live on the streets of our community, it is about asking our local councillors to stop clearing the streets and start helping those who need it most. Please find it in your hearts to support this campaign – there for the grace of God……

  • No fines for homeless in Northampton
It targets vulnerable people and fines them when they are clearly not in a position to pay. It criminalises people who are already at a low ebb and already face considerable challenges in getting their lives back on track. It is a waste of taxpayers' money chasing people with no money through the judicial system for money that they cannot afford.

  • Strip Eric Bristow of his MBE
The government must make clear that attacking abuse survivors is not tolerated. Condoning his behaviour could discourage other victims from reporting abuse.

  • Blame Culture
Another example of the deficiencies of the regulator essentially shifting blame and their own shortcoming on to these practitioners who very bravely risked their own lives in treating ebola patients. These wonderful nurses and human beings should be honoured and deeply respected not persecuted, its an absolute disgrace. Its about time this injustice was recognised and put right please speak up on their behalf

  • REFORM THE IPCC RENAMED OFFICE FOR POLICE CONDUCT OPC. www.brightonscandal.org.uk
The Home Office state the IPCC are the only way to hold the police to account. It is of concern that the IPCC are able to block a complaint relating to serious police corruption. As a result of this the police are able to act without fear of prosecution and innocent people are locked up. The IPCC blocked my complaint presented by Simon Kirby MP regarding senior police officers who lied when they stated my brother, Alex, stabbed a police officer in the chest with a very large kitchen knife. The case was dropped when it was proved the large knife to be a small mobile phone. The 'stabbed' Officer, facing near death, became a media hero and received an award. Alex served 15 months in a high security prison awaiting trial. Campaign site includes IPCC complaint, full story, evidence and letters by senior police officers. • STOP THE WAR IN SYRIA NOW
Children's hospitals are getting bombed in Aleppo. There is a world wide refugee crisis. People are drowning trying to escape from Syria. Children are going missing en route to refuge and losing their parents on the way. This atrocious war has gone on long enough!

  • Demand the UN condemn USA Govt. and force US Federal intervention to stop attacks on DAPL protectors
This will set a trend through the western world that it is ok to beat, shoot and blow up unarmed peaceful citizens of the respective countries. Firing grenades into crowds, whether a fragmentation, concussion or a flash grenade has the potential to kill and is considered lethal force. These are unarmed civilians, not combatants and they are citizens of America being massacred by the Federal Establishment of the USA, much as many other countries around the world have been. Attacks on journalists are also a clear violation of international human rights and the destruction of media equipment shows an agenda to hide the true level of violence being inflicted upon unarmed civilians at Standing Rock.

  • Refuse Royal Assent to the Investigatory Powers Bill
The most important liberty of all is privacy, a right to operate in silence and in peace. Assuming no one is being harmed and everyone is innocent until proven guilty; I'd rank it above the freedom to speak. I wish to admit, but avoid, my republican nature in my argument and I think I can. I wish to remain polite and not be too crude. Unfortunately life is very much crude, and events are rarely polite. I cannot help but notice the masses around me suffering poverty under the guise of austerity. The sheer amount of charities that have sprung up, to cope with public services' duties. I feel this creates an air of "Us First", pitting poor against poor. Whilst those who are supposed to serve this kingdom do so well. This is aimed at our politicians and not a republican's slip. You have a chance to break with tradition and remind the world that "how we've always done it" is a terrible argument for a society that wishes to progress. As I'm sure you are well aware, Royal Assent has not been given in person since 1854 and has not been refused since 1707. I believe that breaking both of these records on the same day would send an important message through the ranks who support this bill, as well as to the people who oppose it. I fear that if you do not, Eric Arthur Blair may become the greatest prophet this country ever created. This comes from someone who hates clichéd tropes.

  • Support Lauri Loves request for an appeal against his extradition to America
It is important because Lauri Love is considered to be a high suicide risk, given his Aspergers Syndrome and related mental health issues, by top AS specialists and by his GP: over 100 MPs recently wrote to President Obama requesting that Love should face any alleged charges in the UK if this us deemed necessary. This vulnerable young man whose extraordinary computer skills are symptomatic of his mental health issues in terms of obssessive behaviours, is likely to become a test case for the new legislation linked to the extradition of UK citizens. This case is likely to progress to the High Court and ultimately the European Court of Human Rights, at considerable cost to the public purse and its impact on the young man's mental health.
