This has got to stop. It has been going on long enough. Teachers pay has barely increased in the last 8 years. There is no respect for the profession. We are constantly scrutinised, questioned, observed and criticised. The ones losing out are the children as tired, stressed teachers cannot teach to their potential and have no energy to plan and deliver "outstanding" lessons. Let's get together and make a change that is desperately needed.

This road needs a Lollipop Man as there are 3 schools and 1 nursery that use this road that is a lot of children who need protecting as it is a dangerous road

The exam board AQA have decided to discontinue offering Art History as a subject at AS and A Level from 2018. This is detrimental to students, teachers and the cultural future of this country. Art History is not a 'soft subject'. It encourages an interdisciplinary view of the world, the chance to delve into different civilisations and time periods and gives students the tools to think critically about how art and architecture are part of human experience. By cutting access to the study of Art History before university, fewer prospective students will think about enrolling for such a minority subject. Over time this will lead to a dearth of expertise and interest in the visual arts and heritage, vital for continuing to protect and promote the UK's rich cultural history. There is almost unanimous support from students, teachers, parents, art historians and museum professionals to keep Art History alive in our schools and colleges. Please think about signing this petition to give sixth-formers the chance to participate in this fundamental and enriching subject.

People in lower middle class cant afford can't afford it without taking out loans. When taking out a student loan you only pay it off for 30 years if you are working in the UK so a lot of loans are written of anyway so they should be a reasonable price that most people can afford.

I want them to have a debate on dyspraxia and I will cripple and it is to people suffering from this condition. Plus I want them to treat it as a separate condition completely independent of dyslexia I would like to see a low where it makes educational establishment such as universities and schools. Because at the moment the educational establishment say a lot of it is the same as dyslexia. But this condition has many more parts to it than dyslexia. I find in many educational institutes that they fail to treat dyspraxia raise a different condition.

Our children and hundreds of others are travelling miles every day on buses to get to school from Speke . Many of them being bullied on the buses and some even assaulted . There is a perfectly good new school building in Speke which the council closed . The council are still paying for this building yearly and cannot use it for anything else or sell until a few more years have passed . It's important as whilst many kids are travelling miles on public transport every day there could be a school just around the corner of the council reopened it . The council would also save a lot in the long run on bus passes etc and if they're paying for it still it may as well be used for purpose . Hire new staff who are fully documented and away they go . They can waste money on so many things in the UK but can't keep a needed school going .

The cost of living is rising. Brexit means that those costs are only going to continue to rise. At the moment, ridiculously unaffordable fees are paid to the University in tuition. The university takes another huge chunk in accommodation costs. For those in private rental agreements, the costs are frequently higher. In order to play any university sanctioned sports, all participants are required to purchase a sporty card. The sporty card does not include the cost of the societies registration to the Student Union. It does not include kit. It makes up the highest single cost to every individual that wants to play sport in Aberystwyth University. When the University takes so much capital from the student body, it has a moral obligation to support its student union. And the student union shouldn't be forced to recuperate its debts from the already impoverished student body. Its highly unethical for the University to claim to be actively encouraging sports participation when it is itself such a barrier to sport. Just as it is unethical for the University to claim to have the highest student satisfaction when its more or less reliant on the towns atmosphere for those rankings.

I have recently started year 8 and am feeling under a lot of pressure to do homework, I have been set glossary pages, languages, projects many other tasks to do all at once and am falling behind fast. At high school I'll have 3-4 lessons and each lesson I'll have a piece of homework due the next week, this adds up. Many times I've found that a homework task has to be sent in the next day and I won't get to sleep until past 10 at night. Evidence to support this petition: *Many children lose hours of sleep, which are vital for concentration in class and healthy development. *There is less time for children to play/ hang out together and have fun, this includes precious family time. *Some children suffer from anxiety and even if they don't some children get very stressed. *There is scientific evidence that too much homework can also lead to depression.

The pier was opened in 1881 and the pier train is in the Guinness Book of Records as 'the oldest working pier train in the world'. It provides a vital link between Hythe and Southampton and is a part of our history and heritage. The community led campaign encourages increased use of our waterways and in turn, this will help to reduce traffic congestion on our roads into the city and pollution levels both sides of the water.

I wonder what it must be like to be a non-British family worrying about the possible outcome of Brexit and then to receive a text message from your children's school saying "Info required-If your child is not of British Nationality or was not born in the UK, pls inform the school by tomorrow"? Then, a few days later, you receive a letter from the school ([1]). Maybe you've also been asked to declare your nationality by your employer too ([2])? We should not discriminate between British and non-British children in our schools: * It is not clear what purpose this data serves given that the DfE already records pupils' ethnicity and first language. * The data is unlikely to be accurate since responding is optional and non-respondents will be assumed to have British children. * The data could be abused in the future ([3]). * The Greater Manchester Law Centre has called parents to ignore the census to avoid discrimination and inequality ([4]). To promote the inclusion of all hearing impaired peoples in our society. Hearing impairment is often invisible which can lead to the isolation of hearing impaired children and adults in our society. If sign language and deaf awareness is taught in all schools across the UK, the communication barriers between the hearing and deaf world can be dissolved and an enrichment of society can take place which can only benefit all.

Asad Khan an 11 year old boy from Bradford took his own life on the eve of Wednesday the 28th of September as a result of bullying - an 11 year old should not contemplate such an action - what drove him to it is serious - he had just started a new school and 3 weeks in the bullies had pushed him to this extent. It is absolutely heartbreaking - this needs to stop - let's take action and do something - we have failed Asad and many others as a society lets not fail another child - especially one as young as 11.
