Last month our respected community elder, Ras Judah Adunbi, was tasered by two police constables while peacefully taking his dog on a Saturday morning walk through our neighbourhood (Easton, Bristol). The police stopped Judah near his home, demanded to know his name and address and when Judah politely refused, which is within his legal rights, they tasered him in the face and wrongfully arrested him. Judah did NOT break any laws or rules but was treated violently and with no respect. Judah felt like he was going to die and has since suffered from a number of health complications. The incident was covered my media outlets across the Globe, including Washington Post, New York Times, CNN and BBC World News. Avon and Somerset Police dropped the charges a couple of days later and are now being investigated by IPCC. ** Ras Judah wants everyone in the community to LEARN their legal rights! If a police officer stops you and starts to ask you questions you DO NOT have to stop or answer any questions. That’s the law. People with Dementia need Social Care. My mother had this awful disease. This is both for the sufferer and their family. They need this WITHOUT being Means Tested. Dementia destroys lives so some help to give Families quality time without the threat of losing homes etc.

BBC has stated that Nigeria, Yemen, Somalia and South Sudan are facing the greatest famine for over 60 years. Millions of people especially children are at risk. We are currently wasting huge amounts of food often through over buying as supermarkets encourage us through their 'buy one get one free' campaigns. We take more than we need.

This is important because i have seen someone very close to me being bullied from being a confident, beautiful, talented, intelligent young lady to self-hate, lack of confidence, uninspired young lady. The bullying is going on for nearly two years now and we have tried to do everything, report to the school, get in touch with the police but it did not help. Many young people in the UK are being bullied until they commit suicide, self harm or stopping them from being who they are meant to be not only young people even in work places some adults find it okay to make someone's life unbearable. Everyone should have the right to be happy and live in freedom from being bullied with other people.

For any supporters of PR, the 2011 referendum on AV or FPTP was like asking a vegetarian, "beef or lamb?" The poll should have been similar to the 1992 New Zealand ballot which had 5 options... and they now have a form of PR. In like manner, the 2014 Scottish referendum should have had 3 options: status quo, 'devo-max' and independence. And Brexit should have had, say, 4 options: the UK in the EU, EEA, Customs Union or WTO. Binary ballots are inaccurate. As with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Turkey, 2-option polls enable those in power to choose the option and thus dominate the agenda. No wonder majority voting has been used by Napoleon, Lenin, Hitler and many other 'democratic dictators'. Furthermore, "all the wars in the former Yugoslavia started with a referendum," to quote Sarajevo's famous newspaper, Oslobodjenje, and the same now applies to the conflict in Ukraine. In summary, binary voting is the most divisive, primitive and inaccurate measure of collective opinion ever invented. The council should be helping to rehome these people. They shouldn't be moved out of town they should be helped. Our job is to get these people the help they need to better their lives.
