There have been debates about the proposed pipeline to transport oil across America for over 2 years. The route chosen appears to be in breach of several treaties between the Government of America and first nation tribes concerning the preservation of sacred land and burial sites; investigation by the the Army Corps of Engineers, charged with ensuring the safety and sustainability of any use of public lands, has been cursory and incomplete. A small group of First Nation people, with support from across the world, are trying to stop the pipeline, not only because of the threat to sacred land but also because of the threat to drinking water. There is significant evidence that their human rights have been breached and that actions by local law officers have been illegal and disproportionate. Full and fair reporting by the BBC would facilitate a wider debate on the important balance between the demands of corporate monopolies and social and environmental protection.

Another example of the deficiencies of the regulator essentially shifting blame and their own shortcoming on to these practitioners who very bravely risked their own lives in treating ebola patients. These wonderful nurses and human beings should be honoured and deeply respected not persecuted, its an absolute disgrace. Its about time this injustice was recognised and put right please speak up on their behalf

Children's hospitals are getting bombed in Aleppo. There is a world wide refugee crisis. People are drowning trying to escape from Syria. Children are going missing en route to refuge and losing their parents on the way. This atrocious war has gone on long enough!

Local Councils decide how many unaccompanied minors they will take in their area; that means that at a local level we can make a real difference for refugees and asylum seekers. THIS FRIDAY, 25th November 2016, the leaders of all the Local Authorities in Scotland will meet at COSLA, the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, in Edinburgh. The transfer protocol for Unaccompanied Minors will be discussed. COSLA is “your local voice, nationally”. We want our local councils and COSLA to take courage from the fact that we support them welcoming refugees and asylum seekers to the area where we live. They need to hear from us this week. The most important liberty of all is privacy, a right to operate in silence and in peace. Assuming no one is being harmed and everyone is innocent until proven guilty; I'd rank it above the freedom to speak. I wish to admit, but avoid, my republican nature in my argument and I think I can. I wish to remain polite and not be too crude. Unfortunately life is very much crude, and events are rarely polite. I cannot help but notice the masses around me suffering poverty under the guise of austerity. The sheer amount of charities that have sprung up, to cope with public services' duties. I feel this creates an air of "Us First", pitting poor against poor. Whilst those who are supposed to serve this kingdom do so well. This is aimed at our politicians and not a republican's slip. You have a chance to break with tradition and remind the world that "how we've always done it" is a terrible argument for a society that wishes to progress. As I'm sure you are well aware, Royal Assent has not been given in person since 1854 and has not been refused since 1707. I believe that breaking both of these records on the same day would send an important message through the ranks who support this bill, as well as to the people who oppose it. I fear that if you do not, Eric Arthur Blair may become the greatest prophet this country ever created. This comes from someone who hates clichéd tropes.

The people still in Aleppo including children are being bombed and starved by their own Government. So far the United Nations has stood by and watched. This is not a call for military intervention but a humanitarian one. If the UN cant organise this they should be wound up and the money they consume passed to charities who are not afraid to act when necessary.

I am a student at Blackburn University Centre I have created a project linking with the LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexuals and Transgender plus) Community. I think there is a lack of support out there. There was support sessions in place but due to funding cuts the help diminished so I want to re-instate that to the public. So I want to have support sessions in place offered by trained staff in all schools, colleges and Universities. I feel that there is a need of this campaign due to a lack of understanding of the meanings and clarification of the LGBT+ Community. SO I want YOUR HELP!! Some facts - 58% did not feel that their school was a safe and welcoming place for lesbian, gay or bisexual pupils, also 13% said that reporting bullying actually resulted in anything being done about it. 50% of lesbian and bisexual women under the age of 20 have self-harmed in the past year, compared to 1 in 15 generally. (Stonewall: 2008) and finally LGB people are twice as likely as heterosexual people to have suicidal thoughts or to make suicide attempts. Also another shocking fact - Lesbian, Gay and Bisexuals people are two to three times more likely than heterosexual people to suffer from depression. It is important because Lauri Love is considered to be a high suicide risk, given his Aspergers Syndrome and related mental health issues, by top AS specialists and by his GP: over 100 MPs recently wrote to President Obama requesting that Love should face any alleged charges in the UK if this us deemed necessary. This vulnerable young man whose extraordinary computer skills are symptomatic of his mental health issues in terms of obssessive behaviours, is likely to become a test case for the new legislation linked to the extradition of UK citizens. This case is likely to progress to the High Court and ultimately the European Court of Human Rights, at considerable cost to the public purse and its impact on the young man's mental health.

It speaks to the people of this country this disunited Kingdom and indeed the world at large and it says here is a government that cares for the rich at the expense of the poor. I believe that this is important and as a nation it is up to us to speak out a challenge this cruelty.

As per the UN Findings, Grave Violations is serious and it appears Ministers / MPs think they can merely dismiss. Large numbers of people have been seriously affected by policies and measures, cuts and 'austerity'. Lives have been lost and many more are extremely suffering, distressed at how they will keep a roof over head or put food on the table and so on. It has also been observed that there is a great unfairness in that Corporations and the rich have tax cuts, banks were previously bailed out, MPs claim expenses for second homes and there is a trait of 'Government mates' deals by Conservative Government. It is also observed in such matters that management consultants are employed unnecessarily, that charge the public purse excessive amounts for template reports on how councils can make cuts - yet this was exposed recently by BBC 2 under 'Who's Spending Britain's Billions'. Plus there are unknown expenditures on systems with pretend aim to save monies, that cost more (on the face of things). What this reflects is the constant attacks on the poor or sick and disabled or low income families should have been avoided. Had the focus been on retrieving unpaid taxes by tax 'dodgers' and we believe HMRC had stated £34 Billion uncollected tax as a total, you can see there was a great imbalance when discriminating with those policies that the UN deems to have breached Human Rights and Discriminated against protected groups.

This Generation have given us everything. They fought for our freedom during WW2. Yet we give them nothing but misery, made to live on a pittance of a State pension. Without this Generations efforts and sacrifices during WW2, none of us would be here today.
