This will prevent vulnerable people being left in a state of limbo for prolonged periods of time, will reduce the burden on the taxpayer and allow a small number of asylum seekers to support themselves and their families while contributing to the economy. Those who are allowed to stay in the UK, will find it much easier to become part of British society if they have been given the chance to work.

Lockdown has effected all people in this country, but it has had an even greater effect on those who are registered disabled. Getting to the shops at all can be very difficult under normal circumstances. Not being able to park close to the entry of stores makes shopping even more difficult.

There are many people who are above the threshold to recieve food bank vouchers yet still experience period poverty. This can happen for many reasons. Covid19 highlighted this issue as domestic abuse is more prevalent during lockdown than ever. Financial abuse occurs within the home & often means those who are vulnerable and a victim of such go without period products.

So-called virginity tests involve a doctor observing or penetrating the vagina with their fingers to see if the woman has had sex. At least 21 clinics right here in the UK offer these tests, which are intrusive and demeaning. These tests exist for a disturbing reason: because some people place value on women's bodies only when they are 'pure'. No woman should have to prove her virginity, to anyone, ever. Not to a partner, not to their family, and certainly not by paying to be assaulted by a stranger! These 'tests' are unscientific - they cannot even prove virginity! A Mosque to the Muslim faith is like another home. But it is a home devoted to their almighty (known by their faith as Allah swt). A Mosque in our community will provide the families of the islamic faith a place of worship, education and support for people of any faith/status/belief. A Mosque for men is a complulory place of worship where they must attend 5 times a day. Some men do not have the means to a car or access to travel to reach a nearby Mosque, this will allows them to pray somewhere within walking distance, allowing more time with their families and pray in a way most pleasing to their belief that is Allah (swt). Not only will it provide a place of worship and education for families of the Islamic faith, but it is also a place where as little as what we understand of it, is in the hearts of Muslims, and in the hearts of those Muslims that live OUR community. You will notice that I have selected the category "human rights" in hope you internalise the importance of this potential development, that is, part of our right as a person, as a human, but more specifically, as a Muslim. The BBC, nor any organisation, cannot and should not dictate what legal activities their employees engage in outside of work, as they have a right to respect for private and family life as set out in Article 8 of the Human Rights Act 1998. Furthermore, supporting equality and demanding fundamental human rights for disadvantaged and minority groups across the race and gender spectrums, amongst others, is not a political partial act, as the Human Rights Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010 clearly set out the obligations of the government and society they represent; merely asking for these obligations to be met is not a political action and Tim Davie and the BBC should acknowledge this, or be guilty of the very partiality they claim to be trying to avoid.

Dear Mr Cox, Currently the world is facing a situation that many generations have fortunately never had to live through, this of course being the pandemic of COVID-19. Sadly, there has already been too much heart break, with the loss of loved ones, closures or business, a loss of jobs to name but a few problems that we have inherited from this horrible environment. I am sure that as a member of parliament representing our constituency that you are doing everything you can to try help members of our community as they struggle through this difficult time. You can imagine my surprise when you voted against the extensions of free school meals to children in need up to the Easter period. I find this perplexing as in September the Prime Minster expected this period of restrictions to last up to 6 months, where I’m sure that many people will be struggling to make ends meet. Our constituency is very close and caring, where already local restaurants have reacted by providing free school meals to children during the October half term, however this should not be their responsibility to provide nourishment during this crisis. The winter period is hard on us all, and nourishment is vital for a child to be healthy over this period, not just in terms of growing but also to fight of illnesses, something which I would have though the government would have place at a high importance given the current climate. Although I did not vote for the current government, I am no means against them. I have nothing but respect for any member of the public who is trying their best to improve the country whilst helping people. I say this because this issue is not a liberal of conservative decisions. This is a humanitarian problem. Politics has no place in poverty, only morals and ethics. The decision to not feed a child in need has no excuse, no explanation. The action itself says it all. I understand you have your reasons to vote against the bill which I would be interested to hear. Perhaps you could answer questions of the public in a live feed so we as a people can debate with are elected official. However, I strongly urge you to reconsider your decision and realise the damaging effect this may have on our local community. No child should ever go hungry in a rich country

Only Make Up and Costume are forced to give an hour and a half for free in television and film every single day. Office workers do not work for free so why is it acceptable for film crews Who are predominately female departments Such as Hair, Make Up and Costume who are pushed into doing this in TV and Film. It’s a sexist old fashioned tradition that is essentially slave labour. Make Up and Hair work over 14 hours a day with an hour and a half given for free. This estimates hundreds of hours that we are Worked for free and a huge loss of earnings at the end of a job. It’s also incredibly unsafe and affects our mental well being and health dramatically. There are no laws to protect us from being over worked or under paid in this country and our unions have not enforced this either.
