This act has been successfully implemented in the US, targeting those malign actors (particularly in the employ of the Russian State) that utilise intimidation, fear mongering, thuggery, assassination and trolling to further their own ends, the ends of their state and avoid prosecution through the true rule of law. It targets them where they can be hurt the most: their wallets. Following the nerve agent attack in Salisbury on 4th March 18 the Russian State (as by far and away the most likely perpetrator) have taken yet another step towards exporting globalised intimidation, corruption and "warfare by other means". The Sunday Times has today (11th March 18) revealed that, despite promises from the Prime Minister in the 2016 election, "Russian oligarchs and their associates have registered donations of more than £820,000 to the Conservative Party since Theresa May became prime minister" (The Sunday Times - 11 March 18). The leading party in the UK Government has accepted money from the most likely state agent of this attack. As such they cannot be trusted, without pressure, to respond to this attack with the necessary "robustness" that they have promised. There are already calls from within the governing Conservative Party to "wait and collect evidence" so as not to "act disproportionately". The Russian State are reliant on such rigid adherence to "due process", knowing full well how to circumvent it and continue operating with impunity. This petition calls on all MPs in all parties to support the implementation of the Criminal Finances Act IN FULL and IMMEDIATELY as the only appropriate response to this heinous and egregious assault on our sovereignty and our safety. This will not stand, and while our politicians shuffle their feet, wring their hands and worry about their donations, we will act. For Sergei Skripal, his daughter and our own Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey who remains in a serious condition at this time, we raise this petition to force all politicians from all parties (including those financially incentivised to look the other way) to vote in favour of this act as a start to the UK's response to this attack on our people and our nation.

This project and others like it are important because the way we tackle problems, including global problems, is not solution-oriented. It's quick-fix or commerically-led. Though we have been running this campaign for 4 years we have funded it ourselves as litter is seen as the pariah of the enivronmental movement. Numerous applications for funding we have made have failed. At Ecologisers we want to make litter 'sexy'!!

The Russian use of chemical weapons on UK territory is an act of war. The reckless use of a highly toxic chemical in a public place exposed many innocent people to mortal danger and showed contempt for the rule of law, UK sovereignty and human rights. The UN was originally set up for the express purpose of preventing acts of war between member states. Any unilateral sanctions against Russia by the UK will not have the impact or the authority of an international resolution of all states reaffirming the international rule of law. In these times of increasing international insecurity, it's vital that all peace-loving nations come together in solidarity to condemn such actions by rogue states.

It is unfair to allow new students to access the new maintenance loans whereas existing students are unable to have the new loans at all. It is not justified and is seriously unfair for anyone who has already started their courses.

East Park is a fantastic local park serving residents of the Holderness Ward as well as many from further afield. At present a significant area within the park is not in use. This area needs to be brought back into use in order to offer Hull residents, most notably young families and children, a cost-free place to visit.

Plymouth has a long standing relationship with the Royal Navy and Defence as a whole, acting as a natural port and strategic location, it boasts world leading capabilities, employing thousands of dedicated local people to support the men and women who serve on Royal Navy Warships. The history of Plymouth and it’s military links can be traced back to before the formation of a Royal Navy. We want the Defence Secretary, Gavin Williamson, the local MPs and the nation as a whole to consider rewarding Plymouth and its dedication to the Royal Navy by naming one of the new Type 26 warships .... HMS PLYMOUTH.

Thanks to the Government's 'Right to Buy' Policy, local government are forced to offer Social Housing at heavily discounted prices - at approximately up to 70% of value - to elderly, disabled and vulnerable residents in Independent Living Accommodation; thus reducing the housing stock in Social Housing overall. Affordable Housing is only offered at 20% of value which most cannot afford. If residents cannot get social housing, either through an association or the council, they are forced into the more expensive - ON AVERAGE 4 TIMES AS MORE - private renting. For example: In the last six months, 130 Independent Living Accommodation Sites have been lost, never to replaced, amounting to 2% of the current total Social Housing within the Stroud Area alone; an issue that is being replicated across the United Kingdom.

There are Elderly and Disabled people in Holt they are liable to fall hurting themselves due to the poor light these Obsolete Lamposts give out so get them removed and replaced now!!

It is important because the thirty month visa route seems to be too short, because by the time you spend two thousand pounds for the visa route, in a matter of time you would need to start getting money together to renew it. If you have children this could affect you even more because of other financial difficulties. In conclusion if the government increase the thirty month visa route to sixty months an individual will get prepared for the extension of their visa and this will also help out a lot of people.

The younger generations of now and the future are becoming increasingly restricted to play the game that dominates our sporting world. Their desire to play and fulfil their dreams of becoming the professional players of the future are hampered by a lack of suitable pitches to play on. Waterlogged unsuitable pitches are on the increase due to lack of funding, making this 'winter sport' only possible in 'fairer' weather conditions. The Premier League continues to grow and will generate over £5bn in the next 3 seasons in broadcasting rights. The Government must encourage the FA to ensure that 7% of this goes to fund grassroots football nationwide but our pledge is to secure funding for Merseyside. How do we encourage the future generations of football that their dream is possible when there are fewer and fewer suitable places to play? As a nation we invest in and support our teams at the stadiums, through broadcasting, buying their merchandise in addition to sharing the joys of victory and never losing hope with losses, surely its time for something in return to ensure that the youth of today can be given every opportunity to develop into potentially our future professionals.

Medical Professionals in the UK Seeking Registration is a campaign group being launched through RAPAR of around 500 medical professionals - doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists and dentists - who are being prevented from working in the NHS because of the unreasonably high English language testing requirements currently set by the professional bodies responsible for registering them. This problem also affects many more medical professionals who are not yet members of the campaign group. The campaign is calling on the GMC and other bodies to return to more realistic and appropriate English language requirements. Doctors who passed the previous language test standards are currently working successfully in the NHS. But now highly qualified doctors – many of whom have been forced to flee their home countries for humanitarian reasons – are being stopped from using their skills and expertise. Four years ago, the GMC raised its already high score for doctors in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) even further. The exam tests general knowledge of English language and includes topics such as archaeology, jam making and current affairs – much of it irrelevant to the kind of terminology used by medical professionals. Dentists, pharmacists and technicians have also had their English language testing scores raised and want a return to the previous levels. In addition, they are asking the councils responsible for registering them to introduce the Occupational English Test (OET) which will cover medical contexts rather than topics that have nothing to do with their professions. Patients are in urgent need of these medical professionals - they should be given the opportunity to use their knowledge, proficiency and dedication to work in our struggling NHS.
