The Freemasons is a semi-secret organisation and its objectives are anti-democratic. Its existence seems to be one reason why so many political decisions prioritise business interests (i.e: privatisations etc). Also, local councillors and planners enable developments to be built that are against the public interest. Workplaces that recognise unions tends to have better levels of pay, happiness and do provide better services to their users. National Museums Liverpool is a public service and should not be exploiting its workers, many of them only earning just about the minimum wage. Many employees of the NML Trading company are local young people and they deserve as much respect as their colleagues employed directly by the museums. As NMLT is fully owned by the museums, museum bosses should not pretend they cannot act or ensure better standards. Yes there have been budget cuts for museums but surely union recognition would not cost a penny and if workers were getting the real Living Wage and decent hours of work, they would be spending their wages in the local economy and not having to consider claiming benefits.

We have seen our population dwindle from over 600 people in 2010 to around 420 people in 2017.Whole families with young children have been forced to leave the Island to seek work elsewhere. There is widespread discrimination in the workplace towards anyone who has dared to openly criticise Government members or fails to toe the one party line. We have a collapsed economy and outside investors reluctant to invest in our Island due to anti business attiudes of our Government Many older people and younger families cannot afford the expensive private medical insurance required by all who live in Sark Most of us have no access to legal aid or representation . We have no professional police force or customs officers leaving us wide open to the infiltration of criminals and terrorists . We have unqualified Judges and Constables with no legal training, We have no independent complaints authority to complain against the actions of these people in authority. Elizabeth Truss most of us are British citizens the same as yourself but you refuse to acknowledge our plight or help us. And guess what we are not thousands of miles away in a far off land but just approx 170 miles from your Westminster office

Martin Mere is a unique bird sanctuary of international importance and is located in a designated Fracking zone under PEDL licence 165 (south). Fracking in the vicinity of Martin Mere with dangerous chemicals and explosives used in this process would destroy the delicate infrastructure that has made Martin Mere the unique bird and wildlife sanctuary that it is today. As Fracking progresses in Lancashire from the Fylde downwards Martin Mere will soon face destruction unless public outcry makes the government make this an exclusion zone.

It is threat to democracy and the suggestions being made by the Law Commission are more in keeping with a dictatorship than a democratic country. This could stop us ever knowing about the details of deals negotiated for Brexit; police surveillance methods of legitimate protestors; the truth about underfunding of the NHS. In fact anything an unscrupulous government doesn't want the public to know about.

Take the EU referendum for example. Many older adults voted to leave the EU, but the people who will be affected in the future by these changes didn't get a say in what happened. If the leaving the EU has its difficulties, then the younger people will be affected. That is why I want you to sign this petition.

This is an important matter because it effects the lives of so many young children. Every child deserve the right to a childhood, unfortunately many children from a war zone country like Syria are having this right snatched away from them. Many countries are opening their arms to refugees, and the U.K. should definitely participate purely for the purpose of an act of humanity. Her recent meeting with Donald Trump has influenced her with this decision, she has also failed to speak against the Muslim ban, despite her being the Prime Minkster of many Muslims. Not so long ago, there was a meeting held in parliament, for which they were discussing the matter of sending some aid in Syria, the members of parliament who were present that day was truly appalling, not to mention Theresa not even being bothered to show up. Being a British Muslim, and a daughter of two immigrant parents I have always been so proud of how Britian has given a hand out to people desperately seeking for help.Living in a country like this has meant I show pride in my nationality, however with the recent events, I am beginning to question this. There is an estimated 90,000 unaccompanied children and teenagers across Europe Help Refugees, one of the British charities working in France, had already launched legal action against the government's handling of Dubs. Its judicial review, which will be heard on Friday, argues that ministers failed to consult local authorities properly about how many unaccompanied children could be housed.

The National Servicemen were the school lads during WW2. Like everyone else they'd suffered the hardships of war: the air raids, the bombing, the gas masks, the rationing, a life of absent fathers, uncles and elder brothers away at war, evacuation to far away places, and many becoming the man of the house long before their time. When the war was over, they were as war weary as the rest, they'd had their share, but there was more to come for this generation of lads. When the war was over, those gallant heroes who had served so bravely in the war, had to be allowed to return home, and rightly so. However the country found itself with many unforeseen post war commitments. Occupied territories had to be controlled, the retreat from the empire had to be policed and a new enemy in the form of the soviet union was fast developing. The country was bankrupt and needed many men to fill the ranks. So, in 1947 the National Service act came into being, This required all young men when reaching the age of 18 to register for National Service. They would be required to serve two years in a branch of the armed forces, followed by many years on reserve. This continued for 15 years until 1962. Three thousand young men were taken from home to serve each week during that period, a total of 2 million young men. Choice did not come into it. They had to go. They had no control over which branch of the services they went in, what job the did, or where they served. They went when they were called, they served where they were they were sent, and did what was asked of them for this country without question. Also they did their service on half the pay given to their regular gallant comrades of equal rank and status, making a financial contribution to the country. They served in many bases around the UK, Europe and many conflict areas around the world. They were the bulk of our military manpower at the height of the cold war. During that period, over two thousand National Servicemen lost their lives and many more were injured. For the first and only time in the long history of this great country, young men were taken from home by rule of law to serve in the ranks in peacetime. They are unique. All request for a simple defence medal, similar to the one given to the Bevin boys (miners), Home Guard and other Civil Defence units during the war have been turned down. The youngest NS man will now be 75 years old, let's put this right before it is too late. Please support this petition.

Edinburgh is not the first capital city of Scotland it holds less people that Glasgow has less transport links to other capitals has more tourism but less commercial offerings and lack of space.

If the NHS is good enough for the rest of us,it should be good enough for polititcians and their families and makes them experience what they`ve created.
