The NHS Walk-in service in Middleton Shopping Centre is very accessible to everyone living in the areas of Middleton, Heywood and Rochdale. The service is open from 8am-8pm every day (8am-6pm at weekends), 365 days of the year, including Bank Holidays. The GP and Nurse-Practitioner led walk-in centre sees over 22,000 patients per year meaning many patients can receive on the day access to urgent quality care. An in-house survey has shown that over 60% of our walk-in patients would otherwise go to A&E if the walk-in service was not available. We do not believe that alternative local services will be able to cope with demand should the Walk-in service close and local patients will have reduced choice and access to urgent care. The central location and efficient nature of the service lets patients be seen in a timely and cost-effective manner. We want the CCG to commit to keeping this service open for the future. *The total number of signatories on this petition includes 7000 paper signatures collected at the Walk in Centre and around Middleton.

He is a threat to National Security. If these scandals from his youth like PIgGate keep popping up he is a liability and open to bribery. Even if we consider that fracking is going ahead even though it is not economically viable with current energy prices seems to suggest a bribe somewhere down the line.

London and Quadrent over the years have gone from being a caring organisation providing social accommodation to those in need. It seems however that in recent years they have become very much about making profit, investing in redevelopment homes that are part buy/rent. They have been very underhand and lied on several occasions to long term residents of the small estate in Sydenham SE26 and seem to be railroading this development through Lewisham Council.

When the budget is announced carers are a forgotten race and don't get a mention. Carers save the government billions of pounds. A care firm I recently contacted charge £16 per hour to care for an elderly person in there own home - multiply that by 60 hours per week. I personally care for 3 family members I get £64 a week care allowance for over 60 hours. I was recently told that this money is classed as income. and taken into account. Im asking that every carer in the country to join me ,s o we can live with some dignity , we don't get shift pay ,time and a half and double time at weekends, we cant take the same holidays, we work when were ill.

UK military intervention will cause nothing other than further misery for the people of Syria who already face terror and chaos in their lives. The UK should aim to cease the arms deals in the Middle East to achieve a peace, not contribute further to the bloodshed. After a majority of Labour MPs voted in favour in an illegal war based on lies, that was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, Labour MPs should stand firm in a rejection of further military actions in the Middle East. Only this action can show the public that history has not repeated itself and that their position as public servants is one they hold with honour. Let the Labour Party stand for negotiations for peace, not votes for death and destruction. Peace for people, not war for mongers.

Imagine you have a collection of CDs that you can't play except on your computer.  You want to play the music on those CDs on your IPod at the gym, driving to work, or just relaxing. However, now that this new law is in place, you can't without risking prosecution.  The only way you can play the music you have is to buy it off ITunes or Amazon, and would you really want to have to pay for something you already own simply because you want to play it on another device?  After all, putting music on your IPod from a CD isn't hurting anyone.  You're not selling it, you're not requesting or obtaining any commercial gain from it, the artist still gets their royalties from the purchase of the CD.  You may think the record company, maybe even the artist is just trying to extort money out of you, and that's before even considering the future, when you would not be allowed to even move music from one device to another through ITunes.  Every device you own has to have its own copy of the songs you want to play. Now imagine you are wanting to convert an audio performance that is now out of print, and can only be obtained on CD.  If you feel it should be preserved, you are not allowed to do this, since you cannot rip CDs any more.  Therefore, that performance, which you think is fabulous and has been praised by critics, will be lost. If this ruling is not amended, then we will be moving towards a slippery slope where no one can have audio that is not bought for a specific device.  This may also lead to software developers not giving users replacement activation keys if they change computers, as they will have to buy another copy of the software simply to use it on a replacement computer.  Even more concerningly, it could lead to people with print disabilities no longer being able to scan physical books and other printed materials for personal use, and CD ripping is much the same as scanning a book to read it in an alternative format.  This is worrying, since publishers only permitted the scanning of books by print disabled people only about 13 years ago, and that was only after a long battle with them. It would be a terable misfortune if those people could not scan books anymore, particularly since that is the only way for some people to be able to read books , and specialist library services, such as the RNIB library, are very limited in what books they can offer. This law is impracticable, unrealistic, and completely unenforceable.  Moreover, it is almost certain to backfire, as people will just continue to rip their CDs, simply because they know they can get  away with it.

Until the locals decide upon a solid direction we can facilitate we are; creating an urban garden in the front of the building, constructing a free library/bookshop and free shop, organising free workshops/Skill share's and teaching trade and also providing a free cafe/space to come and just have a chat. We would like to create a housing co-operative within the community driven framework. We intend for this to empower disadvantaged young people to take control of their lives in a secure, exciting and dynamic manner. All within a voluntarily sustained social centre. Creating a 3-Dimensional community hub!

But after what the FT calls "several years of meandering discussions", they remain undecided about how exactly it should be implemented. "The participation of Britain could break that deadlock." In Scotland the owners of at least 3.45 million acres (18% of all rural land) cannot be identified because the owners shelter behind nominees or trustees registered in offshore & foreign jurisdictions. Transparency International and David Cameron (UK Prime Minister) agree that this creates an environment in which tax is avoided and in which corruption (eg money laundering) can thrive. The clause stated above was recommended for inclusion in the Land Reform Bill by the LRRG to address this issue and this was supported by the Scottish Govt, but it was not included in the Bill published in June 2015. It seems that the wishes of Scottish landowners have been given more weight than the the interests of the country and its people.

Jobs at risk The cost of solar panels since 2007 has fallen by over 70%. It is now the cheapest of all renewable technologies. This week, India announced the creation of 50 solar cities. Solar around the world is booming. In a few years, it won't need any support at all. But the UK Government seems to want to do everything it can to kill solar before we get to that point – and risk tens of thousands of jobs in the process. This is not the first time the Government has tried to kill the feed-in tariff, the scheme that pays people to feed clean electricity into the national grid from their solar panels. Back in 2011 Government tried to kill off 90% of the scheme with retrospective cuts. Friends of the Earth, together with the solar industry, took the Government to court - and won. Junior doctors are on the front line of the NHS, working long hours with few breaks, meeting huge demands, and regularly making life changing decisions. From new graduates up to senior registrars, we cover a wide range of roles in patient care and many have over a decade of experience and numerous qualifications. Despite earning a wage that is already lower than many university graduates who spend less time in training and have less responsibility, the government has decided to introduce a new contract from August 2016. This would mean working more hours, expected to exceed 90 hours per week, removal of safeguards that currently prevent hospitals forcing doctors to work extra hours unpaid, and reduction in salary. This will lead to hospitals being run by doctors who are exhausted, demoralised and therefore not safe to look after patients. The government have chosen the easiest target in the healthcare work force to impose this unfair new contract on, and are depending on their compassion and goodwill to continue working despite making working conditions worse. They are using an empty promise of providing a "7 day NHS" to make people believe healthcare professionals do not provide services at the weekend. If this is allowed to continue the same treatment will be given to senior doctors and eventually other healthcare professionals such as nurses, radiographers, health care assisstants to name a few. Ultimately this will lead to hospitals staffed with employees who are overworked, underpaid and unhappy, or who have to leave their job for one with a wage they can survive on. The effect this will have on patient care is unthinkable. With current demands for emergency services, GP appointments, waiting times for elective surgery etc already at an all time high, this change will inevitably make things worse for staff and patients. Avoidable sickness and death rates are predicted to rise, particularly for those who cannot afford health insurance and medical fees. This is one of several moves supported by the conservative government, many of whom have stocks in private medical firms, which will culminate in the dstruction of the NHS. This paves the way for them to privatise health care in England. The same people have caused a media blackout, to prevent this hitting the headlines and keeping the public in the dark. Every single one of us and our loved ones will seek medical help eventually, so we have a responsibility to prevent this from happening. Sign this petition, write to the government with your views, make this problem known as widely as possible. Tell the government their treatment of hardworking junior doctors and the resulting detramental effect on the NHS is unacceptable. If the worst happens and the junior doctors take industrial action, they need your support and for you to understand it is as much in the publics interests as their own. Healthcare isn't a privilege for the rich who can afford it, it is a right for everyone in this nation. Earning a wage that reflects your level of training, hours worked and responsibility held is also a right that is about to be revoked for junior doctors. Please sign and help now
