• Impose a Covid windfall tax.
After 10 years of forced Austerity cuts to bail out the greedy Bankers it's about time the top 5% and the big online companies stepped up to the plate to get Britain's damaged economy on the road to recovery without we the people footing the bill as of 2010 until present day. It's time for real change and a fairer economy, not a rigged economy to benefit the already rich.

  • Don't cut humanitarian aid to Yemen
Children are already starving in Yemen; a country which has been suffering civil war since 2015. The UK proposes to cut humanitarian aid to Yemen while continuing to export arms to countries involved in the civil war. The UN has warned that 4000,000 under fives are at risk from dying in the coming weeks. While other G7 countries are continuing with their aid programmes the UK, which is hosting the G7 summit later in the year, is turning away from a country in total crisis. The UK is essentially abandoning millions to war and starvation.

  • Refuse incinerator plant
The increased road traffic, but more importantly the emissions to come from this plant. As a country we are supposedly going green, why build this large refuse system so close to a large housing development and a large school. It seems to me that Corby is being used as a dumping ground.

  • Amnesty for undocumented immigrants whom lived her for over 10 years
Undocumented Migrants are suffering in silence, with no access to adequate Financial support, or any help. The current pandemic has created a more hostile environment for undocumented migrants. The Government should grant an immediate Amnesty to the Undocumented Migrants with no criminal record, to enable them to live their lives as decent human beings and help the Country economically. Since the migrants are already in the UK, it would not only be cost effective but would make sense to keep them in the UK and grant them citizenship so that they are granted their basic human rights.

  • Boycott government's tutoring scheme
It is a huge waste of public money, paying a third party at exorbitant rates when schools are well placed to select tutors for themselves. This is an example of cronyism at its worst.

  • Vaccinate our Teachers!
Our teachers are key to keeping the country going! School is the biggest childcare service I know. Who has been looking after the children of Doctors, nurses, gp's, emergency services, and other essential services during the pandemic? TEACHERS have! Now all children are returning to school our teachers are going to once again be put at significantly higher risk of catching covid -19. Whilst children do not generally develop life threatening illness from covid-19, they can still transmit the virus and teachers being in close proximity are going to be at more risk than ever! Especially the early years and primary school teachers. If large numbers of teachers get ill with covid who is there to look after the children of our key workers? If 1 or 2 teachers in a small school, (like my own children go to) are struck down with covid its not only the poor teacher that suffers and they families- our children do to! Teachers cannot be furloghed, they can not work from home, they have no choice but go to their place of work to care for our children! So please Boris do what's right and vaccinate our precious irreplaceable teachers ❤!

  • Shared Appreciation Loans
What seemed like a good idea in 1998 ie loan against property with no interest charged on an on going basis, then 75% of equity of property when sold. However, huge increase in house prices was not foreseen at the time (certainly not by borrowers). This means that some of us will not be able to move when property becomes too difficult to manage.

  • Make it a legal requirement for employers to backdate your salary following a promotion
Speaking with friends and family, this is not an unusual practice for employers to promote staff and not action the agreed salary until sometime after. Employees in the meantime are being underpaid for their new role. Making this a legal requirement will ensure that employers are more proactive and fair when promoting staff.
