As there is a current driver shortage within the UK, it is important that Drivers pay and conditions were improved, having a structured pay system like other industries, and better conditions for parking would improve the recruitment in the transport industries. We want to have better facilities for drivers, there are not enough truck stops in the country, those that there are overcharge and the facilities are inadequate

The reason why many people come into ASDA is because of the fresh meat and fish counters given the dwindling butchers and fishmongers’ shops on the high streets. If the fresh meat and fish counters were to close then they would not have the option of purchasing fresh meat and fish locally which is an important alternative to packaged and processed products. Also, the friendly staff provide social interaction that the shoppers enjoy – it is part of the shopping experience. According to the GMB union 2,832 staff jobs are at possible risk of redundancy. In my local store in Havant, this includes the 7 members of staff, some of whom have worked there for decades. The Prime Minister recently announced that he will begin cross party talks on the future of social care . That discussion should include consideration of what happens at the end of life. First we need better access to end of life palliative care. According to the institute of Public Policy Research (IPPR) 47% of people in Great Britain die in hospital but only 10% of medical staff feel equipped to deliver appropriate care at the end of life. The IPPR recommends that professionals working with people at the end of life should receive appropriate training and more effort should be put into delivering end of life care outside hospitals within the community. Second we need to consider legalising assisted dying for those who want that option. Appropriate safeguards would be required. The option of assisted dying at a point of their choosing for people should be avaialable to those who are terminally ill or whose life has become intolerable to them due to chronic illness or disability and who have previously publicly expressed a wish for this option Providing medical assistance to end a life is legal in Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and seven US States. Research among Canadians with experience of receiving palliative care showed that 78% of them wanted to have the option of assisted dying . A survey by IPSOS Mori for the Economist in 2015 found that 58% of the population of Great Britain believed that people who are terminally ill or find life intolerable due to incurable physical or mental suffering should have the right to assisted dying. Its important as a community gathering .Often items were sold for pennies and items normally out of budget ranges were there at a reasonable price. I bough a lot of my clothes and dishes for my home there Along with curtains and other necessary items. Too many people live on hourly or short contracts and boot sales are invaluable Charity shops have almost priced some parts of our community out altogether Their prices have risen -a huge amount- Its also a great communal meeting point and if a permanent place was provided perhaps a small cafe could be set up too ,creating a job for someone??!! People just love a good market .

The government has released the The Future Homes Standard 2019 Consultation on changes to Part L (conservation of fuel and power) and Part F (ventilation) of the Building Regulations for new dwellings for consultation, but it is a huge and complicated document that takes a long time to fill in even if you know what it is talking about! But we are in a Climate Emergency - we just need to change the Building Regulations to make sure that all new homes are built to a much better standard. Zero Carbon in use is a good starting point, so let's not make it too complicated. Please sign this petition to make sure that we start building much better houses.
