We have ONE WEEK to protect the NHS as we know it. On 1st July it will be fragmented into 42 Integrated Care Boards. We are on the slippery slope of having an American style health care system, which the wealthy can afford and the poor cannot. Caring for the elderly, frail and vulnerable shows a civilized society. Enabling sick patients to recover in comfort is vital. Community hospitals are ideal for those who need extra medical intervention on discharge from acute hospitals. We should be proud of our heritage and enable the first purpose-built hospital for the NHS to survive and thrive, especially as it will be a fraction of the cost of the processed new-build Health and Wellbeing Centre, thus SAVING taxpayers' money.

The school was built as an infant school, and is only suitable for 25 smaller students per classroom. But because there isn't enough classrooms the joint classes mean there are 30 or over Key stage 2 aged students in 2 of the classrooms. There is also no room for new students to join as classes are full, so the school is unable to grow as it otherwise naturally would do. Children are currently in split classes which was meant to be a temporary solution but is rolling into another academic year now. The promised 2 year old nursery provision which would hugely help outcomes in early years cannot go ahead for another year.

The Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) have historically played a critical role as drivers of Britain’s world-leading Startup ecosystem. More than 30,000 businesses have received investment through the EIS with approximately £24bn raised. The schemes are responsible for building resilience into our small business economy and have lowered the barriers to capital for people from every background. But they have become outdated and unable to fulfil their promise to UK Startups. Startups today are launching without adequate funding because the £150,000 funding cap applied to the SEIS scheme has become outdated. The cap was designed in 2012 at a time when the amount would generally provide enough runway to last the average Startup a year. In 2022, £150,000 lasts a new business only a few months. Equally, the flow of capital to early-stage businesses is being restricted because the EIS sunset clause is set to expire in April 2025. In reality, the deadline for investors has already passed because there is no guarantee that an investment made today will still qualify under the scheme after April 2025. This is suffocating investment and restricting Britain’s innovation funnel.

Because in these difficult Financial times we are already under strain without having to pay to repair our cars and be without them whilst getting repaired. They are completely unnecessary when there are plenty alternatives.

As someone with three, young, deaf children - I want children who are deaf and hard of hearing in West Cumbria to have the opportunity to go to the cinemas with their friends and family and enjoy it in the same way as their peers who are not deaf would. Visiting a cinema is a wonderful experience for many. However, it can be extremely frustrating for a lot of people, due to a lack of accessible cinema screenings. Many individuals benefit from having subtitles/captions on when viewing - but not enough cinemas in West Cumbria show the latest films with subtitled screenings. Cinemas may only show a film once on occasion, this is not accessible for those who require subtitles such as those from the deaf community and those who simply require a visual aid when watching a film. Due to the limited number of accessible cinemas screenings on show, too many people wait until the disc or digital release of films so they can access subtitles - this isn't fair to those who would love the experience of going to watch the latest cinema release. It is now 2022, Rose Ayling Ellis won Strictly Come Dancing in 2021. She made a huge impact in raising awareness for the deaf community - BSL classes have seen a huge increase in numbers of people taking part. I hope that cinemas in West Cumbria and beyond will listen to this petition and make more subtitled screenings available to those that need them.

Why we need to stop this charge. If this charge is made then people won’t try the service and won’t improve their health. In turn, there will be an increased need for expensive hospital admissions and treatment due to poorer health and obesity, thereby costing the NHS a lot of money, time and resources.

Dear Mr Wright , It has come to the attention of many park homeowners, who have electricity meters but pay the money to the Landlord, who holds the energy account, that we are to be left out of the £400 rebate. This is totally unfair as the government stated ‘everyone will receive it'. Park home living is expensive. We have no gas mains and our heating in LPG . Why can we not receive the rebate through those accounts which are individual? Again as one on a very low income and maybe thousands of others we are being penalised ! This is just not fair ! We need you to sort this for all park home owners. Everyone was promised they would receive the rebate, and as usual the Government of the day has done a u-turn on its promise! They just cannot be trusted!

For thoses who had tickets for the gigs. We all lost a legend and we all need to see it and respect Taylors life.

Making this change will have a massive impact on 'disabled' people's confidence and makes it more valid, also being 'disabled' will be met with more respect. Parents, students and more people have had to battle with the education system to put in 'the appropriate Needs. Being 16, it seems to be a generation thing, to use the word 'Special' as mockery and/or an insult. This is potentially damaging for some people.

The problems of gambling addiction.

The Government is hiding behind a shield, using child welfare to defend its anti-immigration policy. Using children to reduce the number of Ukrainians fleeing to safety is totally reprehensible and morally corrupt. For every one potential child abuser in this country, there are thousands of tanks and planes dropping hundreds of thousands of bombs on and shooting millions of bullets at these children. Is this the action of a responsible Government?

Sexual Harassment should not be tolerated in any workplace. MPs are leading by example, and yet over 50 are under investigation for sexual harassment, where the likely outcome will be a mere 2-day suspension or a training course. This is not good enough. The UK must have a zero tolerance policy on sexual harassment, and it must start with our elected representatives.
