  • Post Office Horizon Scandal - Fujitsu should be liable for compensation
We have seen governments award contract after contract to private companies that either deliver little or no value to the public purse. Fujitsu for example on top of the Horizon Post Office scandal has been awarded further Government contracts worth over three billion pounds of public money. Not one single person within Fujitsu has publically been held to account and this needs to stop - now.

  • Petition for more homeless shelters
The idea of homeless shelters will provide people living in poverty with a purpose, and an improved quality of life. This will ensure they do not go a day without nourishment, will give them a chance to socialise and relate with other people in their position, and to make our streets a happier place for both inhabitants and the public.

  • Post Office Scandal: Strip Paula Vennells of her £400,000 bonus.
Regardless of the outcome of the petition for the removal of Paula Vennells CBE. One of the people jailed in the Horizon scandal said he didn’t want to see anyone jailed, he said “Hit them in their pockets” The point he made was that the only thing these people understand is money, Being stripped of her CBE wont really hurt Paula Venelles but taking almost half a million pounds from her will sting quite a bit and last a lifetime. Angela van den Bogerd should also suffer similar humiliation. Lets be honest if they pursue any of the officials through the courts it will take years and result in very little if any justice for the Sub-Postmasters. Please share this petition on all social media outlets to promote this far and wide, lets see what we can achieve.

  • ITV/Channel 4: Make a PPE sleaze drama
The success of Gwyneth Hughes' drama starring Toby Jones, Mr. Bates vs The Post Office, which has just aired in January 2024, is inspirational. For so long, so many people have felt powerless, frustrated and angry with our politicians who just seem absorb our ire like a sponge and show no sign of contrition, acceptance of culpability or, indeed, action. Yet, these dramas have suddenly resulted in a reaction. They have to react! It's an election year! Please help to show that we are not as dumb as they think we are and we do care.

  • Government to overturn the contract Extension of Horizon in the midst of the Post Office scandal
Japanese tech company Fujitsu Services developed and began operating the Horizon IT financial software services for the Post Office in 1999. Employees said they reported issues with the software from the start, but claimed the Post Office brushed off their concerns or said the issues were the fault of the individual branch managers CCRC, which reviewed the wrongful convictions, said that “Horizon appeared to have significant bugs which could cause the system to misreport, sometimes involving substantial sums of money which sub-postmasters found difficult to challenge as they were unable to access information about the software to do so.” As a result, between 1999 and 2015, more than 700 sub-postmasters were accused of wrongdoing, leading to prosecutions, criminal convictions and, in some cases, prison sentences, the BBC reported. Since the post office scandal has gone viral following the court case and itv show despite Rishi Sunak saying he is looking to exonerate the sub postmasters the post office as noted on the gov website have extended the Horizon Data Centre Operations and Central Network Services as of April 2023 and should be revoked immediately and Fujitsu must take accountability. Justice for the 700+ sub postmasters who were wrongly accused of stealing and for Fujitsu to take accountability for their actions in the creation of the system and the Post Office to revoke this abhorrent contract that ruined so many lives.

  • Post Office Scandal: Exonerate Sub Postmasters unjustly convicted during the Horizon IT scandal
Evidence has been produced that the Post Office engaged in a mass cover up which led to the unjust prosecution of over five hundred Post Office Staff Twenty years after he lost his own Post Office, Alan Bates is still fighting for compensation for the hundreds of other victims. The Post Office blamed three thousand five hundred Postmasters for financial losses caused by the Horizon IT system. Seven hundred were found guilty of crimes, two hundred and thirty-six went to prison. Four Postmasters took their own lives. The Court of Appeal has so far overturned ninety-three wrongful convictions. The Public enquiry that Alan Bates called for in 2009 is now underway. Of the five hundred and fifty, who fought along side him in the high court, eighteen have died without seeing justice or full compensation. To date, no current or former Post Office executive has faced criminal charge. The people responsible for this travesty must be held accountable. The innocent victims must be exonerated and fully compensated without further delay.

  • Fund series 2 of mr bates vs post office
Justice has not been done for most of those affected and as the responsible body you will be eager to ensure this happens. Funding a further series will be more effective than any other conceivable government action. Just make sure you give them full editorial freedom, you wouldn’t want to reduce its effectiveness by interfering. Image credit: UK Parliament. Used under Creative Commons
