• Stop rip off train ticket machines
Train travel is expensive, but did you know buying a ticket from a machine at the station could cost you more than twice the price compared to buying online? This is because the best value fares are either unavailable or hidden among several options on many machines. Consumer group Which? found in its research that there were several factors why a ticket machine may be more expensive. Some may not offer cheaper advance fares or split-ticketing, or make off-peak fares less visible. We need to strike while the iron is hot and demand they stamp out this rip-off way of doing business once and for all.

  • Break the barriers to school attendance for care experienced children
Half of kinship carers report that their child has additional learning needs. Four in ten adopted children missed school due to concerns about their mental health in 2022. Adopted children are also more likely to be excluded and more than twice as likely to be suspended as their peers. These children have a right to attend school and to thrive when they are there. For families of children who are already struggling to cope in school, current approaches to tackling absence are at best antagonistic and at worst, create misery. Only when we equip schools and wider services to meet every child’s needs will we solve the attendance crisis.

  • Improve the conditions of police holding cells!
Our research has shown that 74% of people think that police holding cells require improvement and 83% of people think that police holding cells should become more adapted for neurodivergent and/or young people. People who have stayed in holding cells have described them as "oppressive" "made me feel insignificant" "very minimal". This is not acceptable conditions for people who may not have committed a crime to stay in.

  • Aer Lingus please re-instate Gatwick Dublin route
Thousands of us find Gatwick a convenient and easy airport and do not wish to fly Ryanair. By removing the Gatwick option, not only is a Ryanair monopoly created, but it forces those of us who will not use Ryanair, to have a far longer and inconvenient journey to an alternative airport, and in doing so, creating a negative environmental impact.

  • Sub-Post Office Victims Exoneration Plaques
Reparations for major injustices are never only about compensation. They are also about public recognition of the harm inflicted and a permanent, public acknowledgement by the perpetrators of that harm, and a setting straight of the record. This would serve as a permanent and local reminder across the country of their innocence, their public duty and the scandalous way they were treated.

  • Leave our family graves alone.
This is important to the people of Edenbridge. Lets stand together and Help make a change. We don't want the cemetery to be ruined. If this carries on the cemetery will be empty and no one will be allowed to lay anything. Families are already experiencing council removing flowers, photos, borders, ornaments, and pots. Everything that makes the graves look loved and personal.

  • Make UK Orgs Resilient to Cybercrime
Billions is lost to cybercriminals and scammers each year. Most of that loss is felt by the public who are regularly defrauded of their savings and robbed of their dignity and mental heath. Current legal and regulatory efforts to stem the scourge of cybercrime have been largely ineffective. Join us in convincing lawmakers that change is needed to reduce the huge number of victims of cybercrime and the anguish they suffer.

  • Who really wants an incinerator in Beccles?
Too many council officials are forgetting the actual people they serve and appear to be wilfully serving themselves. For example the legally binding carbon budgets are being ignored by our local authorities: www.gov.uk/guidance/carbon-budgets After the horrific Post Office debacle which has been strung out for years, do we really trust that these officials have our best interests at heart? Or is it all about commercial financial gain at our expense? We need to take action and stop these people from ruining our health which ultimately ruins lives.
